Remains were first discovered on 15th February. Dan's family are waiting for the results of DNA tests to find out whether it is their Dan. According to the BBC, another possibility is that the remains might belong to Damien Nettles, who disappeared from Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, in November 1997.
